Hey guys,

I am super excited to start this new segment on The Wave. For those who have Instagram or Twitter might be aware of #WCW or in other words hashtag women crush Wednesday. It's this popular tag that highlights beautiful women. Well,  The Wave doesn't just care about a women's beauty, but what women bring to the table.  I am proud to see women coming together and support one another! I thought it would be a great idea to interview ladies who are inspiring and amazing and show what they can do!

I am pleased to have started our first Women Krush (with a K!) Wednesday with a long time friend and future sister in law... Amanda Belle. That's what she goes by on her youtube channel. For those who haven't had the opportunity to check out an Amanda Belle video, you are missing out. Her beauty channel highlights beauty hacks, hair tutorials, and occasionally vlog's (video documentaries). She officially started a couple of months ago, I think it is amazing how much her channel has grown. She is a 19-year-old, full-time college student with a love for makeup had the courage to start her channel regardless of others opinions.

That is what is so great about Amanda because when asked "what drove you to create a youtube channel?" her response was  "well because many people would ask me to do their makeup so I thought this could be a great way for me to show people what I can do as well as help people learn and try different looks and techniques themselves at their own pace."

Beauty Tip:
Q: What's one makeup product you can't live without?
A: "I guess my Marco Budescu facial spray. It fits all skin types, refreshes the face,  and sets makeup. I would wear it when i am not wearing makeup and need to bring my face back to life."

Amanda says the motivation for her video's comes from a feeling of accomplishment, that cool feeling of "I made that" and also showing her knowledge of makeup.

I asked Amanda who inspires her and she said "Vanessa Hudgens for her "very cute, hippie, go with the flow way of being"."

For those who are interestend in making a youtube channel here's a little advise from Amanda Belle:
"Don't be afraid of not receiving many views or putting yourself out there. Patience is key! Do it for yourself, not for a name, it has to be  authentic!"

I feel like Amanda is off to a great start with her channel and I can see her youtube channel continuing to grow. I hope this inspires anyone who is considering creating their own channel. My advice is to stop thinking about it and simply execute because, although this may seem cliche, you truly only regret the chances you didn't take. Don't be the guy/girl 5 years down the road saying "imagine if I would have started then". Take Shia Lebouf's advice... DO IT!... JUST DO IT!

Also, I hope you enjoyed this first Women Krush Wendesday.  :)

Check out Amanda Belle on youtube !!!!! You won't regret it!
